When I was at primary school (in the 1970’s) my auntie Beat knitted me a bag which had round handles. I loved that bag and took it to school with me everyday. 
Another childhood memory I have is that when we were little my brother and I used to stay over at Beat and Mac’s sometimes and they would take us out to all different places in the car. We used to love our days out with them. I have very fond memories of my auntie Beat.
It’s sad how lonely and ill she became after her beloved husband Mac passed away but I hope that they are now together again in spirit. May she rest in peace.
